I always look forward to producing imagery with harsher looks, and high contrast tonality. Sounds like and easy thing to do, but it never turns out as well as I would like. Something is always off, either stylistic aspects are not right or/and lighting would not be as harsh and ’strong’ enough, sometimes producing a bit too softer looks than I wanted… Any way, I think I finally got a pretty good results last week when shooting an editorial with a coal cheek theme.
